I really enjoyed this book. Alers kept the tension high between the two characters. The characters were likeable and memorable. Ms. You were rooting for them to get together. Storm is the kind of guy you want to have around when a storm hits your neighborhood.
Rochelle Alers is true to form in this lovely 3 book series about the Whitfield Sisters. You will enjoy all three of books and won't be able to put them down until you have the book finished.
That only deepened their feelings and attraction to one another. As far as the story being realistic I believe it could happen. I loved the character development. Rafe sounded delicious and Simone had a lot of spunk. I'm not a fan of the fast courtship and the rush to jump in the bed, but if you take the story for what it was, which is romantic fiction, then it was a very good story. I loved the constant conversation they had, getting to know one another and taking an interest in each other's lives outside of him having to protect her. Together they made FIRE. Very nice book and well written.
I refuse to tell you anything more than this book was awesome. i reeeally liked the male hero. good book. get the damn thing.
Have not read the others yet but thought this story was totally unbelievable. Thought the main plot had good potential, the little twist at the end was not needed, it was a cop out. The whole romance took place in a week, it was too quickly wrapped up.P.S Since then have read the others - compared to them this is the best in the series but its still an ok read - I give it 2.5 stars.
